Kangana Ranaut took in a screening of Raman Raghav 2.0 in Mumbai along with its cast Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vicky Kaushal and Sobhita Dhulipala. Gulshan Devaiah, Vivaan Shah, director Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Anees Bazmee, Abhishek Chaubey, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Mukesh Chhabra were also present. The movie is set to release on 24 June 2016.
Kangana wore a short blue Diesel dress and a pair of stylish black Alexander McQueen booties. The flashbulbs went into a frenzy as she stepped out of her white BMW car. She was styled by Ami Patel. The colour of her outfit shone beautifully against her milky skin complexion.
Kangana posed with director of the movie Anurag Kashyap who wore a quirky I Am Ramantic T-shirt. It was evident that Kangana couldn’t help but burst into a giggle as she pointed her finger at the quirky print.
Last spotted, Kangana launched Shirish Kunder’s short film Kriti which stars Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte and Neha Sharma.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui sported a quirky black T-shirt with the same quote from Raman Raghav 2.0 printed on it. The actor plays the titular role of a serial killer in the film. With Raman Raghav 2.0, he will add yet another intense role to his substantial repertoire of good films.
While talking to the media at the screening, Nawazuddin said that he is positive that the movie will get good response. The actor revealed that when Raman Raghav 2.0 was screened at Cannes, the film had received a standing ovation. Nawazuddin promoted Raman Raghav 2.0 on The Kapil Sharma Show recently along with Anurag Kashyap.
Vicky Kaushal stepped out wearing quirky sunglasses dedicated to the signature gesture made by Nawazuddin’s character in the film. The actor teamed his T-shirt with ripped blue jeans, a pair of white sneakers and a black cap with Batman’s logo on it.
The actor who gained success with Masaan, recently said in an interview that he wouldn’t like to be labelled as an indie film actor. Among his last few appearances, Vicky gave give promotional interviews for Raman Raghav 2.0 with co-stars Nawazuddin, Sobhita Dhulipala and Amruta Subhash.
Gulshan Devaiah was present at the screening with his wife Kalliroi Tziafeta. The actor is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming movie Cabaret with Richa Chadha. His wife Kalloroi wore a pretty blue sleeveless dress which featured a deep neck and cherry motifs. She completed her attire with a pink bag and matching heels.
Gulshan went casual as he donned a printed white and blue shirt over a pair of jeans and black sneakers. Last spotted, Gulshan promoted Junooniyat with Hrishitaa Bhatt at an event. The actor will be seen in a small role in the Vivek Agnihotri directed movie which stars Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam in the lead.
Debutante Sobhita teamed her I am Ramantic T-shirt with a short skirt and a pair of white sneakers. She sported a messy braided hairstyle and light pink lipstick. She showered compliments on her director Anurag in a recent interview by saying that he nurtures his actors to perfection.
She also spilled the beans on how she landed a role in Raman Raghav 2.0. Sobhita revealed that when she went for an audition, she had no idea that it was for Anurag’s film. The actress also said that it was difficult for a young actress like her to portray a character which has different layers in it.
Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah dropped in to watch Raman Raghav 2.0 as well. Even after playing important roles in films like Saat Khoon Maaf, Happy New Year and Bombay Velvet, the young actor hasn’t been able to make a mark in Bollywood yet.
Vivaan wore a printed white T-shirt over a pair of red pants and grey suede shoes. The actor will be next seen in Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana which also stars Akshara Haasan and Sanjay Mishra among others.
Shweta Tripathi attended the screening wearing a printed green unbuttoned shirt over a blue jumpsuit. She sported a pair of strappy brown platform heels, a red purse and finished out with a light pink lipstick.
The actress who is a known face in advertisements, was last in the critically acclaimed film Masaan. Her next movie titled Haramkhor starring Nawazuddin, was recently banned by the CBFC as it tells the story of a romantic relationship between a teacher and student. The movie is produced by Phantom Films.
