Showstopper Kangana Ranaut stunned in a heavily embellished maroon bridal Manav Gangwani lehenga-choli as she closed the Day 4 of Indian Couture Week 2016 held at The Lodhi in Delhi. The actress’ lehenga featured gold-toned huge peacock embroidery and her off-shoulder cleavage baring choli had intricate mirror work adding on to the regality of the costume. A matching mesh dupatta summed up her dazzling attire.
Manav’s collection was named as Begum-e-Jannat and unveiled various magnificent and traditional wedding outfits. He chose vibrant festive colours like blue, maroon, green, pink and black replicating the royal age of Mughal era. During the press interaction, his showstopper Kangana said in a lighter vein that she doesn’t mind getting hitched more than once and added that she would like Manav to design her first wedding wear. Known for her stylish appearances, Kangana was photographed in a funky Zara T-shirt and ripped blue jeans at Mumbai airport recently.
Kangana’s natural curly hair was styled by Haseena Shaikh and her makeup artist Albert complemented her ethereal look with a thick winged eyeliner and light orange lipstick. Stylists Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya adorned her attire with a statement polki necklace and a beautiful maang tikka by the label Rakyan’s Fine Jewellery.
The National Award winning star will next be seen in Rangoon alongside Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Reportedly, she has also been roped in for Ketan Mehta’s biopic on Rani Lakshmibai.
Last spotted, Kangana attended Madaari’s screening wearing an off-white Pero dress at Lightbox in Mumbai. The screening also saw top Bollywood actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu in attendance.
